The past two days our computer wasn't working. It ended up we just needed a new battery. When it stopped working I thought my life was over. ha...not really but I was upset! I'm a total blogaholic and facebook fanatic, so not being able to get on the computer, I felt disconnected from the world! The computer does distract me from things I need to do though. After I got over the fact I wasn't going to get the computer up and running, it was actually nice to get extra stuff done around the house and spend more time with the kids. It's amazing how much technology runs our lives!
Adeline and Ryder are both doing really well! Ryder is such a sweet baby boy :) He is growing up way too fast! He army crawls everywhere and is so close to crawling. He's been pulling himself up now to his knees. He recently started imitating...when I blow bubbles he will, and when I click my tongue he does it. He's always smiling and giggling and he loves playing with his sister! Adeline can be so sweet and funny, but is definitely showing her rebellious side. Yesterday, she was supposed to be taking a nap. I hear her door open and she steps out and goes, "Arrrr, I'm a monster!" and then I see lipstick all over her face and hands. She had snuck out of her room when I wasn't looking, grabbed my make-up bag, and used up all the chapstick and lipstick. It was all over her sheets, bed frame, door, and herself. That was not fun cleaning up! Hoping this rebellious stage doesn't last forever!
I made a delicious caramel apple dessert today. I will post the recipe soon!
Hi Mallory! I just saw that you were a "follower" on my blogpage....so I just added you to mine!! I love reading blogs in my sparetime...which isnt often, lol! But I was really excited to add yours because 1. you are a stay at home mom too 2. you have recipes on yours!!! and 3. your kids are absolutely adorable!!!!
ReplyDeleteI luv Adeline's little rebellous streak--expecially since I don't have to "parent" her! SOOO hard not to laugh during her "standing on the couch" episode Sunday...BUt you handled it so well--a firm, yet loving mother
ReplyDeleteTami, I feel the same way about your blog!:) I really enjoy reading yours. You give me great ideas of things to do with my kids and it's nice to know someone else is going through the same trials and complications of being a mother!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Dad :)
