Zoo pictures and a recipe

Here are some pictures from our visit to the zoo this past Saturday:









My Grandma told me about this delicious meat loaf recipe from the Better Homes and Gardens cook book. I've made it a couple times and it's by far my favorite meat loaf I've had! Matt devours it whenever I make it :)

Everyday Meat Loaf

2/3 cup dry bread crumbs
1 cup milk
1 1/2 pounds ground beef
2 beaten eggs
1/4 cup grated onion
1 teaspoon sage
Dash pepper

Piquant Sauce:
Combine 3 tablespoons brown sugar, 1/4 cup catsup, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1 teaspoon dry mustard.

Soak bread crumbs in milk; add meat, eggs, onion, and seasonings; mix well. Form in one loaf, cover with Piquant Sauce and bake at 350 for 1 hour.
