This weekend wasn't too hectic, but we kept busy and I was able to get some stuff done. Friday Matt didn't get home till about 730 so we just went on a ride to his barn and to the gas station. Saturday we raked leaves, pulled out flowers, and cleaned out my car. We ordered pizza that night and we were going to carve pumpkins, but Adeline was throwing tantrum after tantrum, so we didn't have time before she went to bed! Sunday the kids and I went to church while Matt worked and then we met my grandparents at Bob Evans. They came over afterwards and spent the day with us. It was really nice having them over and Adeline and Ryder enjoyed the extra attention :) Next weekend is going to be a busy one! Friday night I'm going to a Halloween party with my friend and her roommates. Then Saturday, I have another Halloween party I'm going to with Matt and we are taking the kids trick-or-treating before that. Matt and I still don't know what we are going to dress up as. Ryder's going to be a pumpkin and Adeline is going to be Tinkerbell. I wanted to come up with something different for the kids, but both costumes are hand-me-downs, and they are going to wear their costumes for maybe 2 hours tops, so I didn't think it was worth spending money on something else! Hopefully I will have some cute pictures to post of them (and maybe of me and Matt too :))
Here is a picture of Adeline's first Halloween (Ryder is wearing this same pumpkin costume)...
and here is a picture of Matt and I two years ago at the Halloween party...
He was a wrestler with a mullet :) and I was Amy Winehouse. I won best costume!
