June Updates

We had Adeline's "Beauty and the Beast" party on the 9th and it turned out great except for the extreme heat! I had tables all set up outside on our deck and nobody even ended up using them because it was just too hot to be sitting out in the sun! I'm just glad we had enough chairs for everyone to sit in the shade. Also, the day before the party my mom showed up at my house all the way from Florida! I think that was by the far the biggest surprise ever :) It was so nice having her for the weekend! My brother made such a sweet, memorable video of the party that I will cherish forever and he took some great pictures. Hoping one of these days I will have time to upload more pictures on my blog but I only have the time to write brief updates. Here is the link to the video... http://vimeo.com/44018438.
I started my STNA course this week. I have classes from 5:30 to 9:30 Monday and Wednesdays. I have really enjoyed it so far. Can't wait to work in the medical field in the near future!
We officially got rid of Ryder's pacifiers! I thought it was going to be awful but he really did such a great job. We put his paci in an envelope and sent it to baby Elmo :) A few days later both he and Adeline got treats from Elmo in the mailbox with a note and picture of him on it. They were so excited. Glad to have that over with!
This past Sunday was Father's day. Adeline made a sweet card for Matthew. It was a fill-in card I got off Pinterest and her answers were hilarious. Some of them only family will understand...

The kids also got a pair of shorts for him and we made Blue Moon beer cupcakes with orange cream cheese frosting that actually turned out really yummy! I was proud of myself because it was all made from scratch :)

Have I mentioned I have an obsession with the library and reserving books? As of right now I have 27 books checked out and 10 on the waiting list! And do you think I have the time to read...No! But whenever I see a book I want to read I don't want to forget it, so I just go ahead and reserve it with the library app I have on my phone, and then I just continue to renew all the books since its rare they are read by the due date! I have really got to get this obsession under control to say the least. Haha! 

Also, both Curtis and Brittany have moved out. We actually have an empty basement now which is nice but I have yet to do anything with it!
