Last week, Adeline and I made peanut butter rice krispie hearts with drizzled chocolate on top for Peepaw Mike's (aka my dad) visit. He loved them! :)
Sunday, Matthew surprised the kids and I with Valentine's gifts. Cookies, perfume, and roses for me. Tonka trucks for Ryder and a big stuffed bear for Adeline. Isn't he the sweetest? :)
On Valentine's Day, we presented Matt with his gift. A heartfelt letter from me (which he probably won't ever read again! ha), a CD of one of his favorite rappers, Sour patch kids (his favorite candy), and a Valentine's card made by Adeline and Ryder. People say Valentine's day is just a Hallmark Holiday and I know you should treat your loved ones everyday like it's Valentines day, but the holiday reminds you to stop and take the time and effort to show the people you love how much you appreciate and love them!
