Christmas and the Last Days of December

The past week and a half have been absolutely crazy, busy and fun! We are so blessed to have awesome families. It was great spending time with them all (especially my sis who lives in Florida and my other sis who plays basketball in Sweden!) The weeks were full of photo shoots, La Comedia, Christmas, family, shopping and New Years. The kids and I were in Cedarville from the 23rd to the 29th. (Matt had to leave the 26th to go back to work). When we finally returned home I think I had 10 huge bags of Christmas presents I had to put away plus the few presents still at my in-laws I couldn't fit in my car! We definitely get spoiled at Christmas time! My goal in the next couple weeks, is to clean out all the toys in the house and get rid of half of them to make room for the new ones! We have about 5 toy boxes throughout the house! I can't stand all the clutter. This year, we didn't do anything crazy for New years eve. (Not that we usually do! ha... but we normally go to a friends house who is having a party).  Instead we stayed in Wapak. We went out to eat at beer barrel pizza and then came home, put the kids to bed, and stayed up watching the performaces in Times Square on TV. Both Matt and I were sick. I had started feeling better but Matt wasn't doing too well. He ended up falling asleep before the ball dropped so at midnight I kissed my other main man, Ryder :) He woke up about two minutes before the ball dropped. Then I went straight to bed. We aren't as young as we once were! haha
Winter quarter starts up today. I will be going to class in the evening Mon-Thurs, so If I thought I was busy now, I'm going to be even busier!
